Credit Risk Manager - Term Lending
The overall responsibility of the role is to ensure prudent review and approval of loans within Enra’s term lending departments and to cascade knowledge to more junior members of the company. This is a mandated role which requires all loans to be approved in accordance with the divisions Credit Risk Appetite whilst ensuring that service levels are maintained within the business.

Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- As a Mandate holder, ensuring all cases are reviewed and where appropriate, approved within the Group’s Risk appetite and within current regulations.
- Developing staff and promoting self-improvement within the department.
- Oversee the loan approval process in support of the Head of Credit Risk.
- Ensure that broker relationships are maintained (which are integral to the growth for WOSL) whilst ensuing that credit quality isn’t compromised.
- Promote ESGR values across the business.
- Provide MI and feedback to the Head of Credit Risk and Head of Term Lending on a monthly basis.
- Be a referral point for Underwriters and the Broker Support team for questions on credit decisions.
- Regular liaison with external auditors and funders.

Knowledge & Qualifications
- A strong understanding of FCA regulation.
- Current/Previous Mandate Holder with a Lender (preferably a Specialist Lender) in one of the following sectors: - BTL / 2nd Charge / Residential Mortgage / Bridging.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Specialist Lending sector.
- Experience in managing people.
- CeMAP (desirable, not essential).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
