Product Accountant

An opportunity has arisen in our busy Finance department for a Product Accountant to join us for an exciting period of growth. The successful candidate will ensure/assist that accounting records are accurate across all short term lending businesses.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Joining a currently 3 strong team supporting the Bridge Finance & Development Finance divisions of Enra
  • Continued growth of the balance sheet both organic & expansion into new products
  • Ensuring Loans are recorded accurately & timely into the financial records – securitisation structure with underlying SPVs
  • Maintenance of “Data Tapes” to be submitted to liquidity providers
  • Daily reconciliations of Data tapes to ledgers to control reports to ensure control is maintained on a daily basis
  • Assist with cash management of Short term business – funding/management of new/redeeming loans
  • Assisting with the preparation of Client Money controls & daily reporting
  • Ad-hoc support of lending underwriting function to assist with the structuring of more complex lending arrangements with customers
  • Producing reports for the securitised loan pool and warehouse funded loans which will support the treasury activities of the short term lending products
  • Assist with month end processing for the short term lending business
  • Assist with quarterly Regulatory reporting to FCA (Financial Conduct Authority)
  • Assists with the annual audit and quarterly AUP (agreed upon procedure) audits.

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Part or newly qualified accountant
  • Experience of accounting within a securitisation structure is not a pre-requirement but would be an advantage
  • Experience within or of an financial services organisation is not a pre-requirement but would be an advantage
  • PC literate
  • Strong academic background
  • Degree educated
