Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DE&I)
Diversity of background, experience, and perspective strengthens our ability to innovate and serve our customers responsibly. We embrace equality, diversity and inclusion as vital to both our culture and our continued growth.
At Enra, we believe that collaboration and respect are the foundations of a thriving workplace. Our success is built on our shared commitment to our CREDIT values: Customers, Results, Energy, Development, Invention, and Teamwork. These values guide not only the way we do business, but also how we support each other.
Social
Promoting Active Lifestyle
At Enra we encourage and promote healthy, active lifestyles through a variety of optional organised activities that not only promote health but also strengthens workplace relationships. We do this through regular football sessions and PT Sessions for Watford-based colleagues, and regular padel sessions for colleagues based in Manchester.
Strengthening Company Culture
We host two annual company-wide events to celebrate our people and connect over shared interests, while teams are also provided an opportunity to organise monthly or quarterly meals that help build team culture and cohesion over a shared lunch or dinner.
Women In Finance
Enra Specialist Finance signed The Women in Finance Charter in 2019, as a commitment to supporting the progression of women into senior roles in the financial services sector.
As signatories of the charter, we pledge to create diversity by:
- Having one member of our senior executive team who is responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion
- Setting internal targets for gender diversity in our senior management
- Publishing progress annually against these targets in reports on our website
- Having an intention to ensure the pay of the senior executive team is linked to delivery against these internal targets on gender diversity

Communities
Spread a Smile
Spread a Smile is a national charity that aims to bring joy and entertainment to seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families.
We have been a partner of Spread a Smile for over 6 years and frequently host and attend events to raise money for their noble cause.
Cure JM
Cure JM Foundation is a charity dedicated to funding research, raising awareness, and supporting families affected by Juvenile Myositis, a rare autoimmune disease that primarily impacts children. Through education, advocacy, and community support, the Foundation works to improve lives today while striving for better treatments and an eventual cure.
Motor neurone disease association
The Motor Neurone Disease Association is a leading UK charity and member organisation that is dedicated to supporting people affected by motor neurone disease (MND). They provide expert care services and work to improve the quality of life of persons living with the disease through advocacy and research as they seek to drive progress towards “a world free from MND”.
Volunteering Days
To encourage charitability, we grant our employees one paid day per year to contribute their time to a charity they care about.
Environment
Low emissions as an office-based company
As an office-based company, we are already a low emission company with the largest part of our carbon footprint coming from energy use in the office. We are committed to actively seeking opportunities to reduce energy consumption where possible through energy-efficient means.
Cycle to Work Scheme, EV Scheme, and Travel Loans
To reduce grey fleet emissions, which are a secondary driver of company emissions, we support our employees through various schemes to help encourage the use of public transportation and low-emission commutes.
We do this through a variety of schemes, including a Cycle to Work Scheme, Electric Vehicle (EV) Scheme, and travel season ticket Loans.
