Key Accountabilities

HR Leadership & Strategy
  • Assisting the COO with the formulation of the HR strategy in response to the needs of the business.
  • Setting & managing the HR budget.
Learning & Development
  • Working in partnership with managers to identify training needs and solutions.
  • Managing the existing learning framework to ensure role-specific development learning content is kept up to date and extending formal training coverage across more roles over time.
Recruitment and Onboarding & REM
  • Managing in-house recruitment.
  • Overseeing external recruitment including supplier selection, contracting, and management.
  • Inducting new starters into the business.
HR Administration & Reporting
  • Managing an HR Administrator and overseeing all regular HR administrative processes, including payroll.
  • Overseeing the use of the HR system (HiBob) and ensuring data integrity is maintained.
  • Presenting HR information via reports to analyse and present HR data to influence HR strategy.
  • Ensuring Fitness & Proprietary checks, and appropriate Certifications are completed for staff members who are subject to SMCR.
Employee Relations
  • Acting as an ambassador for the company culture and building strong relationships across the firm.
  • Providing support to line managers on all aspects of HR case work.
  • Maintaining and enhancing our internal Company policies and procedures.

Skills & Competencies

  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality regarding all aspects of HR.

    Knowledge & Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years all-round HR Generalist experience, with L&D experience particularly desirable.
    • Strong working knowledge and experience of HR systems.
